Did you know that 70-86% of carts are left abandoned by online shoppers? How would your business be different if these negative percentages were turned into positive ones?

People abandon their carts for various reasons. They could’ve just been window shopping, weren’t actually looking to buy, didn’t have the money, or they found the same item elsewhere.

On AVA we have found a solution to bouncing between apps to chat with friends and find the right clothes. We have turned shopping into a social media platform! Shoppers will use our app to chat with friends, shop, and connect with a community. But, they can also create public carts, in app, for others to see! Now, these “abandoned carts” are available as inspiration to others!

What are carts?

AVA shoppers can create carts and make them public or private. When a shopper decides to make their cart public, anyone who visits their profile can see what they have added. Then, if they are feeling inspired they can buy the items right from their friend’s cart, without even having to visit the store's profile. Users can also become influencers and make money off of partnership carts.

What are partnership carts?

To have access to partnership carts, shoppers have to turn on “become an influencer” in their settings. After that, they’ll be on a list that stores can access while creating partnerships. Stores can send partnership requests to the influencers who they feel align with their brand. A contract with rewards, terms, and conditions is readily available in the AVA app. Then, the influencers can accept or decline the partnership invitation. Once accepted, the partnership carts will be visible on the influencer’s profile. Partnership carts can be differentiated by a handshake icon beside the title of the cart. Stores will usually add a discount to partnership carts and when shoppers visit the influencer profile they’ll see the discount on that cart.

What are closets?

The main objective for a shopper to create carts is because they want to buy them. When they buy carts and items, those carts go to their closet section. The title changes, but they are still there for shopping inspiration and can be used the same way as carts to buy things easily! Normal carts are either carts you want to buy later or carts you’ve curated to inspire other shoppers but haven’t bought yet. Closets are carts that you loved so much you bought them, and people can see the carts a shopper bought on the closets section of their profile.
